Catnova was established to influence boat and propulsion design and to push back the boundaries of quality, efficiency and value for money. It is our aim to provide more boat of a greater quality and with better performance at a lower operating cost than the present benchmark.
All Catnovas are built for ease of use by Australians of all ages. There are no ladders and all steps are modest and with handrails placed for ease of use. There is a comfortable and appealing feeling of open space as all areas of the boat have long vistas and all companionways and doors are nice and wide. The main deck area is open plan and the layout is designed for easy interaction between the work areas and lounges.
The vessel is assembled from several moulds, many of which are extendable so that owners can select cabin, lounge and amenity sizes to suit their own particular requirements.
Catnova vessels are constructed of composite materials and utilise premium chemicals in their construction achieving weight savings of 25% over more traditional methods. It is this combination of light weight and superior strength which produces their ultra performance from very conservatively rated engines.
